Membership

Membership consists of 5 classes:  Principal Members, Associate Members, Technology User Members, Channel Members and University/Non-Profit Members.  Membership is a requirement to access Center Facilities for participation in Center Projects or for performance of separately sponsored, directed research and development within the field of flexible display technology.

Principal

Principal Members participate on the FDC Governing Board responsible for policy, new member recruitment and strategic advisement and on the Technical Advisory Boards that influence annual project planning. Principal Members are entitled to the highest priority scheduling of a number of substrate starts per year on the FDC Pilot Lines for conducting Center Projects.

Associate

Associate members serve on Technical Advisory Boards that influence annual project planning. Associate Members purchase starts on the FDC Pilot Lines.

Technology Integrators

Technology Integrators serve on Technical Advisory Boards responsible for development of display performance specifications for both military and commercial applications and advising technical advisory boards.

Channel

Channel Members have an interest in integrating a technology, material, or process into the Center technology demonstrator design or production process for purposes of technology evaluation and validation but who do not participate on FDC Boards.  They pay an annual fee plus the cost of the project.

University/Non-Profit

University or Non-Profit Members serve on Technical Advisory Boards that influence annual project planning. They have scheduling priority over non-members and are responsible for their expenses associated with Center activities, however they do not pay a membership fee.
